I have been lurking around on your and Desu's tutorials a lot since I joined Otogi back in October. They have helped me take my guild (I am a vice) from so-so to a pretty good group of players! I'm considered the info bank of the guild, but I wouldn’t have so much knowledge if it werent for you two and your wonderful contributions! So first of all I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, before jumping into my question :) So really, thank you!
I typically lead with whatever strong daemon I have, - recently that being Nyarlathotep (lvl 75 + bonded to Miss Santa, once I have obtained the limit break orb I will get her to level 80 and bonded to Gilles as well) or Kuji Kanesada (lvl.70 bonded to Dojigiri to give him an overall STR of 27k) - and make it a strategy to bond 5* I havent fully leveled yet to my maxed 5* cards to gain an extra boost. (Since 5* that aren't maxed are not useful to me until they are anyway) However, the next event is a conquest! So I am going to be leading with Socrates(lvl.70) bonded to Ghost Ship to give him almost 10k ATK. It seems as though bonding him to a ranged daemon doesn't make his skill any more OP?? So is this alternative a better strategy, do you think?
Desu's conquest guide mentions a strategy that makes use of Socrates' friends as helpers, so I am guessing this would be a good setup to help my friends and guild out? :)
Also you can never have too many Socrates friend helpers during a conquest, so I was wondering if you'd be willing to add me in Otogi?? :) I've always wanted to be your and Desu's friends because I respect all the work you put into the game's fandom, but I was too afraid of asking until now hehe

Save your LB orb for something you'll use often that can gain extra bonds and/or abilities. I Kuji is a bad choice, since he only gets extra damage out of it, and while Nyarly is good, I'm not sure if getting her to LB2 is worth the orb- there may be more silencers coming our way.
No, bonding ranged daemons only increases skill DMG and heals- Socrates doesn't do any damage or heal with his skill, so he benefits most from normal DMG bonds (ie. melees). Socrates is a decent lead up to level 40, but you'll find that Titanium Elf + single target nukers are much more potent after that.
As for being friends... if only I had a spare friend slot! It'll happen one day, when I finally level up xD
Okay, after working on the current event I began realizing it would be best to save my LB orb. Haha, goodness no I wouldn't spend it on Kuji though! XD he's nice for certain functions but by far not the best. I'd save my orbs for event and exclusive daemons, I mean I have a chance of summoning spirits like Kuji every day, so it'd be a waste to use it on him. If I don't manage to make one of the three rankings I've planned out I might consider using it on Chronos, but even just an LB2 Chronos is useful enough to warrant not using one on him. Seeing the new 4 stars and how broken they are, I'll hold off on LB orbs for a long time coming in hopes of really OP units.
Yeah, I figured, so I'm using a melee bonded to him. He's been really useful to me, but I'm beginning to have troubles with the timer. I'm at cq 93-95 I believe? Right now my team comp is: Momo (for Divina boost and single target nuke), Socrates, Kuji and Gabriel. Unfortunately I missued TE by a small margin, but I have a couple friends with her. What would you suggest I use to make my team more effective? I have Knecht Ruprecht and Amanojaku but they're not high enough levels. Here is my 5 star roster:
Okay! I understand, being high leveled is annoying because it takes a long time to level up. That's okay though, whenever is fine with me! ^.^
As your can see I have a haul of 5* Phantasma, which is a haul because all I had was Gilles until about two-three weeks ago when the Christmas event ended, and now I suddenly have five more that are unleveled. I don't have enough soulstones or Phantasma magas to level them all, and since cq started I've been trying to switch my focus to Knecht but you get soulstones really slowly in cq.
After taking a second look at Desu's cq guide, I actually have most of the more useful daemons for higher levels, I just need to do more leveling for the next cq event. (Sorry for spamming with three messages o.o ) My problem is less with the timer than I thought, more with the amount of SE XD still, do you think for what I have my current team looks fine? Or should I tweak it? (You really don't hAve to answer this, thanks for your time)

No problem. As far as I can tell it's the only bgm for the event. I usually have the sounds off when I play 'cause my mom can track how long I've been playing when I have the sounds on. Haha!
How many bgm does an event usually have? If someone else can verify where I can find a different bgm, I can record those for you too. I just can't go back to other chapters one by one right now 'cause I'm trying to maintain ranking. :)
I don't know what Lady Ashla uses. But I record my gameplay with ADV Screen Recorder, then just get the audio using VidCon. Since idk what format it should be, I save it in .mp3 & .mp4 using Media Converter. They're all free stuff but get the job done. :)
ADV Screen Recorder records speakers' input via mic, so it's best to use it in an enclosed room to avoid unnecessary noise. VidCon has an .mp3 option for paid version.
Hi! Just wanted to bring attention on some stuff I noticed while reading through your Events & Exchange daemon rating blog. The whole thing is great btw.
Gabriel's Skill is listed as: Hits all enemies for light damage.
- It's the single target silence thing.
Mayflower's skill says deals damage to 2 enemies (ranged priority)
And this is why you should never update guides when you're tired and the wiki decides to screw up all your formatting. Thanks for pointing these out, will get them fixed soon (hopefully!)
Ever thought of making a conquest guide? Regarding the daemon selection for se cost effectiveness and a maximum damage dealt or strategy? I saw one from reddit before but it's kinda outdated due to new bonding and reserve.

Hi I was going through your blogs (Great work btw!) and your note regarding Thumbelina says:
"A more offensive version of Isis, which gives the team a little more firepower. Ability is currently unknown, but it needs to be good for LB1."
But now we know her LB1 is damage reduction, which I don't think she really needs since shes a ranged unit, but I recently got 2 copies of her. I'm trying to make a Divina team and my line up so far is: Momotaro, Okita(Original, MLB) OR Kintaro for AoE? White Hare of Inaba & Thumbelina.
Ooh I didn't notice that! I'll change it xD Her ability is indeed a bit redundant, but it does mean that you could use her as a tank in a 4-ranged/1-melee or all ranged team.
Personally, I'm not a fan of pure teams, because most of the time when you try to build one, you'll end up with an unbalanced team. This is very much the case with your team, as with 2 single-target attackers and 2 supporters, you're going to have a harder time with waves that have lots of enemies and with farming as you have no AoEers for crowd control, skill killing or skill cancelling.
I would probably stick to a mixed team until you get some decent divina AoEers ;o
Yes I find building pure teams kinda clunky. I do have a more optimal mixed team, but I like the bonuses pure teams can potentialy give so I roll with it once a while. I once got a +100% Soulstones bonus while running a Soulstone dungeon. To be honest I'm hoping for the Card drop bonus... Man I wish I got Lupin when he was still avalable.

Well, there's still Gryphon (+10% soulstones) and Konohana Sakuya (+7% drop rate, LB2) to pull from Jewel Summon~
Just don't try and roll an unbalanced pure team when you're farming 30SE dungeons though. I've learnt that skill kills are so much more important than random bonuses if you want to get anything out of those :x
The random bonuses are nice but I find that they're too random and too diverse for me, to the point where I purchased Goldy Pick to use with Gryphon at the cost of the pure team bonus. I figured that I'd rather have a guaranteed +10% soulstones instead of just a chance at an equal or lesser (5%) soulstones bonus and a really tiny chance of a worthy bonus (getting any +100% bonus is already uncommon enough; getting a specific one, like +100% soulstones, is pretty darn rare and certainly happens less than 1/10 of the time)
